Yep, known about that for the good part of a year now. Never played Megaman, but nice to see Spaz is still around and drawing Sonic. Him and J.Axer are still two of my favourite artists ever.
Not bought Archie in ages. They never sold it in the UK unless you went to a special order comic store, and in Japan? Not a chance.

Ahhh yes, the ever addictive jpop of quirky JSR.
It’s not Jpop! It’s very unique sampling performed by a solo artist. He cuts and remixes a lot of old American commercials and little Japanese TV jingles in his works.
Does this mean Peppers is gonna have to roller blade all over beast!Candy and graffiti specific spots on her to turn her back to normal?
Also good thing that isn’t Shelbie in beast!Candy’s hand (claw?). She’d be crushed to death by her own boobs in that grip.

Two more comics and this arc is over? Aw, and I felt like things were only just starting to get interesting.
Noticed something. Panel 1 – Daifuku in front of frequency sampler. Panel 2 – Frequency sampler pointed at open window with little space in between the two. Daifuku vanished. Probably unavoidable when you consider the practicalities of showing Peppermint, Daifuku, and the machine in Panel 1, and then only Peppermint and the machine in Panel 2 (since Daifuku is no longer needed) in the limited space of the panels.
Peppermint and Daifuku stand out prominently in their respective panels (probably what you were going for), but I notice that the trademark blue Peppermint uses to construct her devices is making the tracking machine blend in with the background, mostly in panels 2 + 3. Though you might have been going for this as well, given that the machine isn’t really a focus in those subsequent panels.
I also looked at the character redesign sketches. I feel the rounder, more circular eyes significantly changes the overall “impression” of the characters. I don’t really know how to put it, but they seem more childish, a little more silly. More… cartoonish. The inked drawing of Lacie kind of contrasts that impression, because she’s got a properly proportioned body (7 heads tall?), and I’m not sure it really fits with her new face. Maybe it’s just me being influenced by the narrower shoulders on the sketch, leading me to expect less realistic body proportions.
In terms of personality/expression, I think the new faces generally fit your intentions. Shelbie indeed looks more innocent (yet still retains her lovable idiocy), and Lacie seems as mischievous as ever. The biggest difference is for Daifuku, though – her new hairstyle, coupled with the larger eyebrows and the expression you gave her, seems to point towards a personality change. Seems she went from toned-down and polite to bubbly and energetic, not unlike Shelbie.
I can’t say if I like or dislike the potential change. Smaller eyes will definitely change the look of the characters, and I don’t know how they’ll hold up to your simultaneous focus on changing the characters’ bodies. I guess we’ll see if it gets implemented.

Theory 1:
Let’s say the tracker’s antenna is pointing North, hence the window would also be North. Panel 1′s camera is shot from the East, and Daifuku is actually behind the tracker, looking at Peppermint from the West. Peppermint is facing North in panel 1, naturally.
Daifuku’s role was a hook and line role; she hooked (connected) last week’s comic (where she handed out flyers) and cast a line leading to panel 2, as she mentions she handed out flyers in Uptown Metropolis, whereas Lacie has “found” what seems to be Candy in Downtown Metropolis. So, Daifuku is no longer needed.
Although I can see your point of her “vanishing” as Peppermint’s sentence is cut off by Lacie in panel 2, not giving Daifuku enough time to exit the room.
Also, Daifuku being in panel 2 is a waste of space and unneeded clutter. Her colour palette really clashes with the background and she would just make the reader’s eye wander all over panel 2 if she was still there.
Theory 2:
It’s just a comic, no need to be so technical. Look at how small Peppermint’s house is from the outside, yet every time I make a comic I draw a different room. I must have drawn over 50 different looking rooms by now. Anything goes!
In regards to the colour of the tracker, it has nothing to do with Peppermint’s “trademark” colour – she doesn’t have one. A lot of her machines, if anything, are peppermint or orange coloured. The background palette for this CSC is blue, and these same tones of blue have been used since the Eyecatch. Notice how in Treasures of Eastern Estuary everything was purple, and in Edcumacation everything was green? Colour theming! It’s MEANT to blend in as it’s part of the background.
As for the character redesigns, the Facebook images are now a week old and have changed a fair bit. I don’t want to discuss them at the moment, though. Especially not in the comment section of something completely unrelated.
I have said I will make a blog entry dedicated to justifying the changes I make. I feel like it is a step in the right direction for the future of the comic and will not change what I finally decide on if it displeases someone. Anyway, please wait until then, especially since those Facebook images were never proper changes in the first place, just mere ponderings and 5 min sketches.
