Cause you never gave any indication that her Dark Skin was Fur like tuffs of fur popping out or even lines showing that they fur on her skin before this page. Any other night I’m asleep like a baby. On CHRISTMAS, however, I feel like one has replaced my blood with a mix of Monster and coffee.
I love the mix of Peppermint/Candy for an unknown reason. It just warms your heart.
I was like that until I came to Japan, now Christmas is sadly just like every other day. New Year, however, is pretty big.
Speaking of Christmas, I, being the desperate ass I am, will give you the most greatest story I have written, pouring my blood and soul into it.

Are those puffs supposed to be breaths, if so maybe they could use a little tail to indicate direction, plus it’s weird Lacie doesn’t have one, does she not breath?!
Yes, but if I added “tails” to them, I would have to go back and redraw all the other times I did this for consistency. Secondly, it would look like the character is “thinking” something – which is why I changed the shape of the speech bubbles in summer.
As for panel 3, it’s all about composition. The focal point of that panel is the white snowball. If I added white breath bubbles, which are the same size and even whiter than the snowball, the panel wouldn’t have as much impact.
It’s hard to top the impact made in panel 2.

I’d like to see an all out snow ball fight. Lacie,daifaku and mochi vs. candy,peppermint and Shelby. That’d be epic.
That’s a tad unfair. It would have to be Peppermint vs. the rest, as she would end up making a machine capable of throwing 50 SPS (Snowballs per second)!

Her default dress makes her look fatter I guess. her torso is still small and her legs quite plump (this is a new thing I have been trying recently).
It’s not so much that she looks fat normally, it’s that she seems…taller, straighter maybe. Maybe it’s because we almost never see her lower body, or because , like you said, you’re fleshing out her legs a bit…. Yeah, it’s definitely the legs. I just Realize something the light in the (1st,2nd,&3rd) panels backgound is the same light coming the SnowBoulder. In a sense the SnowBoulder was calling for Candy from the very beginning.

Candy: With gusto.*Runs into the background lifts the magical snowboulder overhead. Charge out the background with the glowing Snow Boulder still overhead at break neck speeds.* & that Children is how Candy got Snowboulder in panel 4.
