Embarrassing? I think not. I thought the art was just as good, only different. It was fun to compare Lacie in the “how do you make money?” comic to the updated version in the “how do you make a cake?” one. She looked so much more like a troll.
I think everyone looks weird as heck way back when. The lines are also super squiggly, and characters eyes keep changing size! D:

I know the feeling…! When I see the very first pages of my webcomic… they’re the same of the kingdom!! D: I too wanna update them, but as you say I want a reminder of how much I’ve evolved
(Plus, I bet we rather keep moving foward that stop the train just to fix the past that made us what we are now)
I think if I were to make a book, I would redraw everything in a constant style. A good friend once told me that once something gets published, it’s set in stone and cannot be changed, as a monument to your talent.

The ending was tad depressing, if you asked me. He should have ended the comic with a Happy End instadt – now the whole story, the character development seems a bit pointless.
If I want to see bad things happen to good guys, I read books written by George R. R. Martin.
imo it was a videogame webcomic, and ruined the moment he projected his life problems into it then just went downhill from there. Personal opinion, mind.

Try involving Candy more in the comics though. I know her character isn’t exactly the common link to jokes unlike Lacie or Shelbie, but she reminds me so much of a person I know. Funny how some fictions can imitate reality. Thanks again for CS

I try to write 4 scripts in advance and include each character at least 2 times per 4 strips/month. Since Candy only was present once a month this time, she is going to be in a lot more next month/over Christmas. It’s hard to juggle 6 characters, as I count Mochi as a character too.
That was a bit more friendly than I’m used to Lacie being. o.0
