Thanks for reading this Crazy Sunshine Chronicle! Sorry it took so long to complete. The ending felt a bit rushed, but I didn’t want it to go on forever.
After all, not one but two new characters have been added to the Crazy Sunshine roster, so we’ll be seeing lots of interactions between Daifuku, Mochi, and the regular gang from now on. Looks like it’s also time for a title banner upgrade and some revamps to the site!

Not gonna lie when I first saw Daifuku Mochi cast picture I mistook Mochi Saliva for miniature shape teeth that he was firing from his Tongue.
Holy fuck just notice the new Tumblr Icon.
I was wondering when people were gonna notice the new mini-Tumboiler.
I just realize if you ever have a random hot Spring episode or setting things might get a tad bit awkward with Daifuku there with the whole no Mortal human way of Blindfolding Mochi Demonic Perverse Nipples eyes thing going on, unless you got a Deus Ex Machina up your sleeve.
Given Mochi’s “thing” seems to be for swords rather than girls, I doubt it’d be much of an issue. Given his lack of… features, Mochi is probably more “male” by virtue of personality than by sexual persuasion.
The real awkwardness would stem from Mochi trying to talk while Daifuku is chest deep in the water.
I wonder if Mochi needs to breath air come to think of it…

Spot on about the living with girls thing though. He isn’t interested, but is still incredibly rude towards girls (and anyone in general). He’s just from a different era!
I been wondering this in the back of my head for a while now… “Does Mochi eye lids ever blink? Cause a few comics back when Daufuku was Crying, Mochi made this face (^_^) with his Irises. If he does imagine looking into those nipple eyes suddenly you hear & See that Squishy Blink sound that you hear & see when ever someone Voluntarily Blinking their eyes.

Sorry to be the picker of nits, but something you may want to consider working on in the future Jkun is relative height. I’ve kinda assumed based on previous comics Candy is tallest, Shelbie 2nd or on par with Lacie, and then Peppermint being the obvious runt given she’s 9 (and a half) years old.
This comic, Peppermint is nearly as tall as Shelbie, which given the before about Shelbie = Lacie means Candy is only about half a head taller than Peppermint and Daifuku being half a head taller than Peppermint becomes the same height as Candy.
Still, nice artwork as always otherwise.
Nit pick away! it’s constructive comments like these that help me improve.
Although in my defense, the height difference in the first panel isn’t the problem, it’s where Shelbie’s eyes are looking.
Peppermint is in the foreground while Shelbie is in the background. She should be looking slightly towards the reader/at Peppermint. You can tell because Peppermint’s hands and face are 1.5 times bigger than Shelbie’s in comparison. Being closer to the front of the panel than Shelbie means her height also gets bigger, but without seeing the character’s feet/floor it’s hard to tell.
Also with a plain stone wall and no shadows behind them it’s hard to gauge.
This is also true in Panel 2, Peppermint is slightly in the distance (as Daifuku was facing the group, remember?)
Since Daifuku is about Shelbie/Lacie’s height, the panel with Daifuku and Peppermint in 4 seems about right.
I will keep what you said in mind though!

Ah I see. I had assumed the typical 2D format of the “panel” looking at them side-by-side without any difference in depth in relation to the reader. That also explains the change in the background when we see Daifuku and Peppermint again from the “same” angle in panel 4.
I usually use character head sizes to determine the rest of the body but a lot of the time I completely forget and butcher the whole shot!

Peppermint's reason to bring Difuku in makes sense. A live in Chef of any kind does wonders for cost control is it's done right. That and good Ice cream can get to be pretty expensive. Utility costs are non existent so all Mint-chan has to pay for is food. Good deal in my oppi
Candy is also a fairly good cook, but Daifuku is a trained professional! I can’t wait to see what delicious stuff she can make!

Hey, thanks man! I have written up about a month of strips now, it’s gonna be good. Strips that focus mainly on Daifuku have a fairly good balance of when Mochi speaks. It’s really hard to get a good flow going with them!
Now the question is how long can Mochi keep whatever sanity he has when most of the girls are on a period? It’s never a good thing, I know cause it’s happened to me…….T_T SAVE ME!!! OH GOD NOT AGAIN (XD ROTFLMFAO)
ACTUALLY my girlfriend brought this up.
I guess when Daifuku is on her period all Mochi feels is a headache rather than Daifuku feeling a sore stomach.
