It’s August – already?! Thanks for reading this far into the story! This is page 6 out of 11, just a little over the half way mark.
Introducing Mochi – er, the almighty Mochi, an amalgamation of Daifuku’s deepest and darkest emotions, that has somehow possessed her body, turning it against her own father!
So, what’s going to happen next?! Will Daifuku be able to muster up enough strength to control her own body, or will her own Dad teach her a hard lesson on keeping up appearances one last time?

Not to nick pick but does Daifuku’s father (Dadfuku?) have that pink/peach colored hair or black hair? The goatee isn’t matching the eyebrows. I’m guessing he dyes his goatee due to pink/peach not being a very intimidating color (this is why you should NOT mate with pink-haired girls; there’s a 50% chance the resulting child will grow up with a terrible complex).
He doesn’t bleach it, it’s natural.
My hair is brown but my beard/goatee (when I don’t shave) is ginger. It’s not abnormal

Their last name is Satou. This has a double meaning.
1) It is a common Japanese surname
2) When you change the Kanji around you get 「砂糖」, which means “Sugar”, as every CS character (so far) is named after some sort of sweet.
Daifuku Mochi is a very popular concessionary in Japan, the two go hand-in-hand!

As for Daifuku’s Dad, people only call him by his last name out of respect. Nobody knows his real name.
On a scale of 1-10, 1 being urlggg and, 10 being FUCKING absolutely Delectable what would you rate a Daifuku Mochi?
It all depends on the filling, which is usually red bean paste. Sometimes it’s sweet and smooth with no lumps (my favourite), sometimes it’s chunky and slightly bitter. There’s also types with fruits – especially strawberries – inside which are probably my favourite.
I did have a creamy custard one once! But it was rare.

I’ll put my two cents in on this. Daddy Dearest will, by my predictions, slice and dice Daifuku. Mochi will prevent Daifuku from dying and will, in some macabre fashion, murder boss-man to death so badly all we have to go by is the subordinate’s horrified looks as he watches his master ended in such a nightmarish fashion that we cannot, nor should we ever, see.
That, or Daifuku’s unwillingness to kill will influence Mochi into non-fatally stunning the big guy so she/it can escape without any grotesque casualties. Yeah, I like this one. 10 for this second prediction.

Satou Daifuku:20 for symbiotic influence will prevent Daifuku from dieing and, Horribly Gorey fashion that will or will not be silhouette, or Deus ex Machina, where Daifuku gain back her body for enough time to stop Mochi from killing Satou-sama and, then escaping.

As I mentioned in…some other comment somewhere here…Mochi is a type of sweet, usually white, and it’s all squishy which is probably why Monster Rancher’s Mochi also has the same name!

In fairness, many artists take advantage of practiboobs (TM) that magically adjust their size so as to allow the character in question to do things that would normally be impractical or impossible with their standard bust size.
Need a smaller bust for an action scene so a character isn’t hitting their own chest – practiboobs.
Need a larger bust to fill out a swimsuit that’d normally fall off on a flatter character – practiboobs.
Need some one-shot eye candy for a full character portrait – practiboobs.
Remember: it is practically impractical to go with anything but practiboobs (now in loli-pop and moob-tube in select locations).

I love Touhou! But there’s nothing in this comic that is based on it. Perhaps there are influences though (Lacie the Youkai, the Ying/Yang of Daifuku’s sword, etc.)
