Oh thank christ I’m not the only one who read it that way. I had some terrible images pop into my brain that made my thighs close and start to ache.
For some reason, I was expecting a fisting joke when peppermint said “time to get our hands dirty”…
But its good anyway. How do you get that “ripped” appearance on your comics? Is it a special tool or effect?

The ripped effect is drawn in SAI just like the rest of the comic, then taken into Photoshop where I simply add a drop shadow. it’s that simple and this effect is used all over the site!
Looks great on complex backgrounds, on simple white backgrounds, not so much.
Well considering the company that Peppermint is subjected to, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Ironically I cannot dust my room because I have light dust allergies.

Tell me about it, annoying as hell, I need to get a glass case or something to stop it happening.
Have you tried wearing a painting mask and going over surfaces with a damp cloth? Kicks up less dust than a vacuum and allows you to remove that thick dust you don’t want to accumulate on exposed surfaces.
I have dreamed of such a device for yeeeeaaarrrs.

How about instead of cleaning, just pack up and move? Probably much cheaper than building that.
I like how Peppermint’s robots and mechanical constructions tend to have faces on ‘em. Typical of the lonely, abandoned orphan seeking solace and love from the things she creates.
