Uh oh. Incase you didn’t read this blog entry, I somehow managed to lose all my computer’s data and my backup data a couple of weeks ago! Terrible, right? Anyway, I’m going to use the next week to get a new buffer and get back to work on Crazy Sunshine, just for you.

I like how even this fillers makes great use of transparency. (Though … no semi-transparency today, it seems. That would be even more awsome if used right.)

Peppermint’s parents were loaded, she’s got tons. The rest are just leechers. More on how the characters actually live in a few weeks (I have the strips planned up).

I’m pretty sure Shelbie’s would be … umm … painted green … on the screen.
Lacie does always uses PC’s of others, so no own desktop.

And Peppermint has no use for a desktop, since the whole thing is homebreed.
Whoops, makes me really wonder how they would build it.
Just an idea, I have my computers set up in a mini network kind of thing. I have a server with all my critical data backed up on it and host a web/ftp server from it. Then I have my main desktop with all my stuff on it and my laptop as well, in case the desktop decides to … well, you know, die. Also on the server is a folder set up so that the laptop and the computers can access it and store stuff. I like it and its relatively simple, not to mention I have a 100gb external hard drive that synchronizes with the server’s hard drive just in case it decides to die as well =DD I suspect its going to soon so time to replace me a hard drive.

oh, by “Just an idea” I meant you could maybe get like a server kind of thing so if you want to get to your stuff from anywhere. It works really well for me, as in if I have a project I’m working on, I can put all the components of it on the server and keep everything in order and in one place. Which is especially useful for when my flash drives decide to crap out (which has happened like 4 times)

Actually what I am doing is making constant backups onto a separate HDD and files that are WIP on Dropbox, and I am already paying tons for webhosting/domain names/ads already so a server might be out of the question…
What is the possibility of 3 HDDs all crapping out at the same time?
well… I had 4 hard drives that were the same model at a time, and upon finding out that a shock (min 1 inch fall) would completely crap them out, I switched them out. How did I find out? Long story but it involves several types of cheeses. Long story short: some mission critical data was lost in transition.
I…oddly…I want to know more.

Thanks! I have most stuff back to normal now, work has gotten super busy though (yeah I also forget I have a job sometimes) as Spring Holidays are around the corner. As teachers we still have to go to work, even though there are no classes. So many I can do some sketches for you all during that time!!

Just wanted to write to tell you how awesome your comic is! I stumbled across it and instantly fell in love with it! So, you now have a steady follower here at West Point!
Funny enough (or sad enough, if you look at it that way), I find myself sympathizing with Candy more and more. I’m the same way with my friends here. Gotta keep them in line and out of trouble! (Cadets can get in some pretty interesting situations, that’s for sure!)
Keep up the great work, and I’ll be sure to keep checking in to see how else Candy has to keep the others from, well, everything!
