Well having gone to an American public school I find it kind of a close call
I have heard stories of public schools in America – are they really that bad?!
Depends where you live. If you’re from the inner city where high crime rates and gang affiliations are the norm then yeah there is probably a laughably low quality of education. However if you live in upper class white suburbia where high income rates are the norm then the quality of education is likely high. America the land of equality… unless you’re poor.
Considering that I’ve had my schedules messed up several times, all of which caused me to fail…; they had me in Math I and Algebra II the same semester, took me out of Math I, kept me in Algebra II, then the next year they put me in physics.
Tell me how are you supposed to pass Algebra II without ever having Algebra I/Math I, and pass Physics if you didn’t pass Algebra II with a decent understand of it?
In short, YES, they are pretty bad.
My condolences on your computer. Again, I’m pretty good with computers and I wish I coulda helped out with this.

I am also really good with computers! But this is the first time something has happened where I was surprised there was nothing I could do. Let’s have a geekchat some time.
I’ve had it happen lots. My only advice is never rely on Seagate. Fujitsu are pretty bad, too.
Sad thing is there are effectively only 3 manufacturers left after two bought out two of the others. To top things off, even though Win 7 is leagues better than VISTA *phtooee* it still isn’t all that reliable and there are rumors of a Win8 and support for 7 going the way of DOS3.3.
I plan to get Win 8 when it comes out (OEMs are really cheap in Japan), and the internal drives I am using are all WD, with my externals being Buffalo. Is this good?
