Yep, I figured that’s why she had them thar paws.
I’m one of those people who really study comic pages*. I tend to read a page at “face value” first, then go back a few times over time and excogitate them thoroughly. Crazy Sunshine has it’s fair share of little details and subtleties, which I always enjoy immensely in comics and such.
I wasn’t gonna mention this next thing, but having stated what I just stated I suppose I ought to opine that the perspective work in this page is pretty… um, out-there.
*Which is apt, seeing as I do a comic that has many subtleties/subliminal-aspects and layers to it.

That sounds like a great idea, I will keep it in mind for more things that use double takes!
Kinda like closing the mirror, walking off still in that groggy state, then walking back to really make sure you saw what you really saw.
She could have drawn something worse on her face. She got off lucky.

Hahaha, funny story, I originally forgot to colour that segment in and it looked like she was stark naked in front of the mirror at one point.
So thinking of Lacie causes Candy to no longer require caffienne to become thoroughly agitated, huh?
I think the first thing on Candy’s mind as soon as she wakes up every morning is “What kind of shit will Lacie try today?”

Since she was raised in the wild she’s used to sleeping on piles of rocks or makeshift beds made of grass, a tiny bed beats that any day!

There’s no way I could sleep in winter with my feet exposed. But then, Candy adds nothing more than a scarf when she goes out in the snow. Is she in the polar bear club?

Candy’s face in the last panel is bugging me. If her cheek is coming out on the left side of the reflection, shouldn’t her cheek not be present on the right on her? (Or vice versa)
