Just a month or two until spring! However where I live, just another half a year or so.
How is the snow where you live?
Also, you should check out the Extras page if you haven’t already. It’s got a ton of super neat stuff on it, and will keep getting bigger every time the Facebook Page hits a new milestone!
Lastly some bad news, the next Crazy Sunshine will be uploaded on Monday (30th) due to a Japanese exam on Friday! Wish me luck, gonna kick it’s ass!

You got me
Ayyy http://goo.gl/jU09u
*keeps scroling* oh well the roof wont colapse …so lets wait for the pwnage xD
also good luck bro =)
I wonder when it WILL collapse though. Mine almost did!
Thanks! I will do my best! D:
*keeps scrolling* well it ,didn’t collapse in the next page
good thing your roof didn’t i wouldn’t like to see your comic nor you dead D:
Welp even if I died the comic would continue for a couple of weeks until the buffer ran out.
Dedicated even in death, that’s me.
You seem to hate that 4th wall :T
Wh-when I was a kid it…it touched me …down there.
So now I break it on a regular basis.
You just love getting my hopes up and then dashing them against the rocks, don’t you.
Hey don’t look at me Lacie is the one being a little bitch here.
I waited 3 minutes and it DID collapse!
I feel the longer I watch the epic bulge in my living room grow, the less time I have left to live.
D: …
Have you gotten on top of your roof yet to get the snow off?
And good luck the exam, hope you pass it man!
*with the exam. *facepalm*
No because I don’t have a ladder! Even if I did, there is no place to put it – there’s a meter of snow on the ground, it would just sink!! D:
I did however get rid of those GIANT icicles. No more cheap ice cap zone deaths for me.
Sink?! Wow, boy I’d wish we’d get half of that snow over here. D: I’m Jelly.
I swear to god you could have pierced someone like a spear with those things. xD
Was going to take pictures of my Sonic figure climbing them but he kept sliding off :I AS EXPECTED.
Take the snow, take, just, take everything.
Do your best!
I WILL TRYYYY! 今回絶対負けないぞ!!!
Where I live, we get about as much snow as Lacie’s home town and it attracts the same kind of attention as a random dog walking around a primary school campus. In fact, I believe there was once a snow day declared when somebody scattered a bunch of sevin dust over their lawn.
Sounds like heaven to me.
Japan doesn’t get snow days. Every day is “tough shit, you’re coming to work and will freeze whether you like it or not”…day.
They’d love Canada, then. Especially here. -48 celsius one day.
CELSIUS?
I would rather die.
Wait, wouldn’t your blood freeze anyway?
This sort of cold weather fosters our ability to rip trees out of the ground and joust with them.
But no really, we gotta bundle up pretty good for it.
Well, regardless of what the government says, I still need to go to work as well. Is it possible for you to transfer to Okinawa?
By the way, its currently 20 celsius where I am.
Okinawa would be bliss, but oh man, the monsters that live there! My arachnophobia would be the end of me.
Enjoy that weather!
We don’t get a lot of snow, we get a ton of ice then a light sprinkle that makes it look pretty before you go sliding into a ditch or down hill for about thirty feet. I own a POS jeep that is just barely road legal without working heat or even just a vent for cooler air, but it’s entire purpose is to drive in ice and nothing else so I don’t complain.
Oh wow it’s tyres must be quite big then? Are they chained? I know a few people here who chain their tyres during winter just so they don’t spin out onto oncoming traffic. D:!
Wide tires*, chains, four wheel drive, experience in knowing when to shift gears, and going very very slow during the ice storms along with knowledge of alternate roads that are less steep but take longer to get to where I’m going. It also helps that our local municipality is very good about sanding down the roads as soon as possible.
*Tyres, hee hee hee. I thought you were talking about the Norse God Tyr until I remembered the alternative spelling.
English Enghlish is the only English I know ;-;
Japan never salt/sand their roads unless it’s super busy, and only on corners/before traffic lights; ie, places where accidents often happen. Lucky you!!
I just thought it was cute, not trying to be mean I swear.
If they didn’t sand and salt the roads out here, oh man it would be hell on wheels trying to survive going to work. If the municipality said no, I wouldn’t be surprised if the residents would dig into their pantries and just spread table salt on the road. They’ve got that kind of a “screw you, I’ll do it myself then” attitude around here.
I love 4th-wall-breakings. I loved the expectation fail even more. J, you rock, mate. XD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
*snicker* It wasn’t me, it was allll Lacie.
Thanks as always mate!
As I’m not exactly a fan of Facebook I may never see these extras – well, sometimes one has to make sacrifices to stick to his principles.
But good luck on your exam.
As for the snow, here in Germany we mostly don’t get much of it – at least not in winter. But since last year we expect the snow to come down in masses somestimes between now and April just like last year.
(If I make any errors, feel free to correct me)
How about clicking on the vote button over here? ;D
Your English is great!
Well, thank you.
Lookout maybe tje roof is not caving but the 4th wall just got broken by Lacie.
OHHHHHHH SNAP SON!
I didn’t get any snow, as I live in Florida. also, if I don’t get to see the roof collapse this page, theirs always the next!
Who knows what’ll break next time Peppermint has a coffee high.
(Plus I wanna go to Florida so bad, it just always sounds so awesome and sunny).
Good stuff, as always.
I honestly wasn’t expecting or hoping for it to happen, so the punchline kinda’ caught me by surprise. But the fourth wall breaking, is always a crowd pleaser.
I don’t wanna do it too much, would spoil the taste. Maybe limit it to just Lacie, since she did break the thing in the first place – or at the very least is delusional in thinking people are reading about her life.
Of course. Used in excess, it detracts from the main point of the comic. Used in moderation, it’s hilarious.
Wait Crazy Sunshine has a point? :I
I agree though! I know webcomic artists are always looking for ways to make their own comic unique, but too much of a good thing can have diminishing effects.
For example, if I always shaded every panel or added special effects to every strip, it would defeat the purpose of certain panels that express something big.
That and it would eat up even more of my free time! D:
Sure it has a point! A situational comedy wherein a sassy demon, ditsy angel, young inventor, and austere bodyguard are all put together in one setting.
Oh my goodness, I am so glad you see it that way. Right now as I am still getting used to how I want the characters to work, even I have no idea how others perceive this comic! Thanks!
meanwhile, on the south emisphere, i feel like i’m melting.
Wanna swap? Even for just a day? ;-;
…that’s really it? Awww! Update again!
*wants more Peppermint*
Hey, thanks for commenting and reading the archives!
Crazy Sunshine is still a new webcomic, sorry there isn’t much content! But please keep checking back! I will keep updating if people keep commenting!
She’s sure leveling up… And you too
Aww thanks a lot dude. I hope so!!
YOU HAD BEEN TROLLED!
EVERYONE ABOVE THIS COMMENT HAS BEEN TROLLED!
…And possibly under it too if people respond.
So, begging for comments now ?
Not at all. This is probably the most commented on strip so far, and takes ages to load on my crappy old work laptop. D:!
How hard is the Japanese exams?
Uh, these monthly “Advanced” exams consist of 50 multiple choice questions and a written Japanese essay, probably with a hidden kanji limit. I can’t gauge the difficulty on a global scale, but I can do up to JLPT N3, which is sorta similar. So I guess high-end average/slightly advanced.
Lacie and some manual labour? I hardly can imagine that…
Hahaha I know right. Welcome back, thanks for catching up and commenting tons!!
A toast! To all the roofs that have not yet collapsed! Pohjanmaan kautta!
Pohjanmaan kautta! I hope my will last until spring. D:
You understand finish then?
I can thanks to Google translate. *sobs*
You were like Psycho Mantis from metal Gear in this comic and you made me feel like a fool! Good show Sir.
Hahaha, gotcha!
Just found this comic, and I gotta say; I’m really enjoying it! I love your characters, and you’ve entertained me greatly, sir. Cheers to you!
(Also. There’s still another 2 to 4 months of winter where I am, and there’s supposed to be another 10 cm of snow falling tomorrow or the next day. We’ll have broken the 9 feet mark! Woo! -40 degrees Celsius. God bless Canada.
)
Thanks very much! I hope you keep reading – once my PC is back up and running I will do my best to keep pumping out comics for you!
I wasn’t sure whether the roof was going to collapse or she was going to worry about the roof falling & then actually obey Candy’s orders. I so wasn’t expecting that.
snow… what is this… strange concept? snow? could it be real?
i’ll ponder it next time i’m tanning on the beach
Oh, this one was really good
Thanks!! Glad you liked it!
1 one year anniversary in June later.
Lacie:F~F~FFF~ƒƒƒƒƒ~fuck, How the fuck is this snow still C-C-C-C-Cold.
Rochester MN bro. We who are of the North feel your pain
